Power dips and smoke...Now whine with turbo???

Hi people, Have had my td4 since october, 6 month warranty just expired, now comes the problems!!!
During acceleration car kept pulling back as though someone was tapping brakes...noticed some smoke from exhaust...Not knowing anything I thought "dodgy fuel" so i put half a tank of diesel plus half a bottle of injection cleaner. After 5 mins of driving it got even worse lots of black smoke and lots of bunny hopping. Got mechanic to look he noticed split in hose which goes to air manifold (i think?? short 90 bend right of engine) Took of air filter and to other hoses??? then made me drive it. Big improvement...taped up split hose in hose (new 1 on backorder) put everything back together. all ok. now hose has blown again and smoke again, also slight whine from engine when accelerating. He mentioned turbo seals leaking due to traces of oil in intercooler pipes. This sounds expensive!!!
PLEASE CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME

the three hoses on the td4 is a well known problem. . . .replace them un clean out all the oily black ****e, yer cant tape them fer long as the oil stops tape from stickin,after replacment un bout 30 miles the smoke will stop all power will be back. . . . .best oh luck earthling

This hose is under great pressure from the turbo. If its split the turbo will sound weird and lack of power will be evident. Oil in these areas is quite normal. Get the hose replaced and go from there.
