Hi all,

my V6 is slow to accelerate although it does eventually get to top-end, just not in a hurry.
Also it doesn't kick-down very easily, and sometimes it seems to slip too much on kick-down resulting in a lot of noise for no power.
I've heard of similar faults in the TD4 being due to a fuel pump.
Does this sound like it might (possibly) be my problem also?

Vis motors maybe ? could be auto box playing up though I am sure a more knowledgeable member will add to your thread,

I did think that maybe the VIS valves needed cleaning, I guess it could be the motors as well.

A functional VIS system will make a huge difference to the way the engine makes is torque. If either the Power Valves or Balance Flap isn't working, torque will be lost.
A fuel pressure test is easily do with a tyre pressure gauge on the test valve.
