Poor starting TD4 freelander 03 reg

Hi, please could someone help me here please. My TD4 has started to be a pain to start. Ive fitted new filters and check for fuel lines for cracks etc. It just as if its pulling air in as it takes ages to start.

Ive had a noid light light in the injector(s) plugs and on cranking the light is very dim suggesting the is poor power for the injectors to work.

Any suggestions would be greatfull

wtf ?

could be a faulty injector causing leak back, or cam position sensor to name but two of the most common

good luck

faulty injector, low pressure fuel pump or 1st thing to check would be high pressure fuel sensor (check the contacts are clean).

Does it run ok once started?

Injector, cam or crank sensors playing up

yes runs fine once started.
