Just about to change diff mounts and see that poly inserts are available has anyone used these.
I quite fancy this Mod but am a bit wary will they be just to firm allowing no movment compared to the rubber.
Any comments welcome as I am going onto flebay tomorow

Not tried them myself yet. I will fit them when my bushes fail. I can't see them being to firm. I've a poly engine tie bar bush and it's fine. It's more controlled than the rubber bush but no more vibration is evident.

I have poly diff bushes fitted. Been on for about 6 months or so. No problems with them and found they give better support to the diff than the original rubber mounts, plus they are unaffected by oil etc. and are more resilient.
Bit of a pain removing the old bushes without a hydraulic press but well worth it in the end in my opinion.

Thanks to both of you am going on flebay now will order complete poly kit, have to get it done quickly before Op on leg.

I had my diff bushes fail in under 6months so replaced them with polybushes easy to do without a press burnt and cut out the old ones and pressed the new ones in with a vice wood big washers and threaded bar.

Pleased you found the pics useful dont forget the side bushes are handed like i did. When pressing in use a bit of copper grease and when you have a bit of tension on the rig and the bush starts to bulge just tap it all round and it pops straight in simples apart from the huge plume of black stinky smoke when you burn them out.
