Hi again guys and girls like i've said im new to 4x4s and have a freelander td4 2.0 on a 53 plate its the se model and i have been looking for the RAVE download but they all seem to be discontinued so if some one could help it would be a grate help.

If memory serves after the 2003 model Rave changed to a subscription system LR introduced for dealers. Costs >£100 per year for basic info. scaled up to £400+ for increase in data access.
I think the was a north american rave up to 2004 but was only for the 2.5 v6.
 
Spot on Booboodag, last one I tracked down (after downloading and buying several) was the march 2003 issue.
There are rumours of a slightly later one covering V6 export - but I've not seen one yet.
Don't believe ebay **stids who claim facelift coverage - it don't exist. (I've bought a couple)

Seen a couple of Eurozone ads offering multi DVD sets claiming to be their issue of post 2003 LR databases for recent years but they is expensive if you feel lucky.

I have read the above and downloaded the file. That version appears to have been produced in 2002 so it's highly unlikely to contain anything specific to MY2004. :doh:

As I said in my post, I've got a copy of Rave that covers NAS (North American Spec?) MY2004 and wondered if it existed for UK models.
 
Easiest way to check it's issue date is to look at the properties for the individual PDF files in the set - if they are post 2003 than you have a later disk. :)
If they ain't then it's a dressed up Fleabay con job again - bastids! :mad:
I got one off Fleabay with 2004 - 2006 opening menus - the works, only problem was the PDF's it used were 2002 !!

Does your disk have any better info on the facelift changes?
I've spent a lot of time tracing around the electricals under the dash in our '06 TD4 and eventually decided that it's generally better to run new than trust the wiring shown in the 2003 RAVE. (The Haynes is better but it's only an overview - not all the important links are shown) :confused:

If this disk is better for the facelift models I may get a copy , thanks. :)
May help some peop's if you can post that Ebay link if it's a good one? ;)
