please help!!!freelander non start

Hi Hotshots, another thing you could try before ripping bits off is the fuel cut off switch, it's in the engine compartment behind the fuse box R/H side looking from front, if it's tripped you can reset it by pressing the top.
Also if you've only just bought it get the garage to look at it.
 
hi there battery is ok ive just checked that it will turn over but will not spark.ive tried to get the garage to have a look but they said they could not get the scanner to read the ecu? what ever that means. oh well i will keep trying stuff.

Hi hotshots and welcome to the aboath,will not spark eh, like mondo says check all fuses are good, ya can buy an in line ignition tester from halfords ,check each sparky plugs for signal if all good your looking ay fuel or air problem if nixt good zen my frund das bin dina electro coil kaputen or the cable bin kaput . . . best oh luck earthling:) . . .:)

I think they have 2 coils on them, one fires a pair each:confused: so chances of em both goin tits up together zabit slim????;)

Mrs Ming would jest zap em if they asked fer money,if they met me they would be very polite,if Mondo is havin trouble wiv these troll guys just let me know. . .:mad:
