I'm a man of wealth and taste.

Well, Taste anyway, as I drive a Range Rover Classic LSE.

I became it's owner almost by chance. I had been coveting the 4x4s at a local dealer one afternoon, and mentioned in the pub how I'd like to have a land rover. A friend then mentioned he was selling his Range Rover. I took a test drive, fell in love, found it was just in my price range, and bought "Peppa" (his daughters named it), That was the last time I had spare cash... Luckily it was converted to LPG, so at least I can afford to drive it occasionally.

Not completely plain sailing e.g. the air suspension failed in North Wales on a bank holiday weekend, leading to a long bumpy drive home to the midlands (19 miles from Lode lane) But always a joy to drive.

I also have driven other Land Rovers, mainly green ones (with a wheel on the left flank) Have used a Snatch land rover, on the ranges, and older type defenders before the Wolf replaced them.

Since buying the beast on impulse, I have found out that it is actually a quite rare model, and getting rarer. So less inclined to throw it around at RTV competitions, but still enjoy a spot of green-laning.

I have also joined the local group (MROC) and also GLASS, and met some new friends, as well as a few old ones.

Would love a 90 for playing in the mud, and a 110 or 130 set up for camping / touring. Maybe a Discovery for a daily driver, and maybe a forward control , just because.

Would really like a decent barn/ workshop to keep Peppa and any future additions in.

Any questions drop me a line...

Andrew

There will be no sympathy for the devil or anyone else for that matter on here.

Haven't been on the forums for a while.

Made the decision to sell the LSE Range Rover, and buy a freelander 1 3-door, to greenlane and camp with.

The plan is 50% completed, in so far as I now own two land rover vehicles currently

I have acquired a facelift 06 model, so now have 2 pits to pour money into

You will need the Rolling Stones royalties to keep those both on the road - welcome :D
