I recently brought a Range Rover vogue 2004 diesel which has a screen fitted in the roof. After looking round for a DVD player I located a PlayStation in the boot. The tv turns on to a blue screen but no lights come on the PlayStation. Any ideas where to start or do I need an auto electrician? Thank you

Probably need auto electrician I just took all mine out but I think I’ve your ok with electrical you could trace the wiring under the carpets mine was wired up through the rear woofer and radio and had online fuses with receivers inside the back panels

Get a Playstation 5, those ps2 are dead in the water... Seriously tho', if was mine I would remove as much dead wood as possible to reduce the old battery drain in that there already complicated vehicle. There are plenty of aftermarket systems that can be installed by specialists who'll guarantee their work or get a voltage converter and fit your own :p;)

Just ripped all mine out mark there were bloody wires everywhere and junction boxes I wouldn’t mind but I thought it would have been good for my daughter when I got the car as the screens were in the head rests and the little cow always used to say she wanted to sit in the front let mummy sit in the back

The playstation will be powered by a 12 volt to 240 volt inverter and chances are it will be in the spare wheel well which being a l322 will know doubt have water in it and have killed the inverter ( been there done that and ripped it all out) I would have a look there.

There's a whole world of interesting stuff visvisible through the car windows, without the kids staring at another screen.
My favourite was, and remains, the number plate game :)
Whilst computers are a fantastic thing, the taking of boredom away from humans, also takes away creativity. Imagination needs space to grow, brains constantly bombarded by the imaginings of others will have no room for their own imagination and creativity.
