think its a major job jms . . .unless yer enjoy thet type er project. . . .
Hi. I think it is a big job, however i do know of this guy who breaks LR Freebies and he could supply all the parts for a fraction of the cost of a new petrol engine. I was hoping that someone had done this transplant befor and list all the jobs that would need doing, especially in the elctrics!

Sounds like a crazy plan to me. Like Wigleytuff says just buying a diesel would be soooo much easier. Mind you, if you want to play around with engines you could always try and squeeze a V8 in up front. I think that would be more worth the hassle. You could then LPG it and get diesel economy...
