Hello,

Being in France, I am looking for paper as a rule for a Defender 110 300 TDi SW (9 seats) in December 1997. Maybe you have greater ease in England to find this.

Thank you in advance,

See you soon.

Excuses for my English. Let me rephrase my question, but before I would like to know how you call the papers necessary to run your car? ... Papers that the police control.

Thank you.

In Britain you need 3 documents,

1/ V5 this is the registration certificate.
2/ MOT this is the certificate that says it is fit and safe to drive
3/ Insurance Certificate. This is to prove that if you have an accident the damage will be paid for.

When you sell a vehicle, you provide ? a V5 and MOT ?

Right we are getting somewhere.

Is it a french vehicle that you have? Or is it a vehicle imported into france from another country?

I have a french véhiucle.

Let me explain: I have a Defender 110 SW 300 TDI without V5 and MOT. I would like to have a V5 and a MOT for registering my Land in France as if I import of UK. Here in France, impossible to find the V5 and the MOT.

If the vehicle is in the UK you will need to contact The DVLA Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency to get a V5, then you will need to take it to a garage to have an MOT carried out. once you have done this you will need to insure the car and pay the Road fund licence (car tax)

If you buy it in the UK it will come with a V5 and an MOT. The seller sends the V5 to the DVLA with the buyers details and the DVLA sends the buyer a new V5. and the MOT stays with the car.

so you have a french landrover. It is registered in france. You do not have the grey card and you want to ship your car to the uk to use it over here.

Is this correct?

No, It is not correct.

Yes, I have a Land Rover french, but it is not registered in France. Difficult to explain, it comes from a adminstration. I can not roll into Land Rover.

I search a V5 and a MOT for to register my Land Rover in France.

Buying therefore valid documents for Defender 110 SW 300 TDi (1994-1998).

I hope I have made clear.

Thanks for your help.

Nicolas.
