tell you what mate I've tried painting cars in the past and believe me its no picnic, even under garage conditions theres a hell of a lot goeas into it, but good luck with it and maybe a before and after pictures so we can see how you went on, like I said good luck mate
 
its a long, tough job, but the end result is really satisfying. a mate of mine painted his 90, from red to blue, and it looks fantastic, he said it took him ages, and he always found holidays where he had missed, but he said it was so satisfying oncve he had finished.
 
you serriously never heard that term before? "to leave a hloiday" means to miss a patch. say if i was painting my landy from red to blue, and by accident i missed a bit and left it red, this bit would be caled a holiday!
