Freelander 1 Painting Interior Door Handles

Hello Everyone

Just a quick query as to the ease of painting the interior door handles on my daughters TD4. The drivers side has worn through the paint and I would like to repaint it. If possible would match them all the same colour as getting a perfect match would no doubt be difficult. If not paint then maybe wrapping them would suffice? Anyone bothered to do this before? Purely asthetics..TIA

I would love to sort my tatty door handles out too. I'm also planning to replace the door pulls, with chromed Discovery 2 versions.
The handles are just plastic covers. I have a spare for each side to practice with. I'm thinking gloss black might be the way to go. The factory silver paint isn't available, so would need mixing up. A clear coat over whatever colour is chosen, would definitely help protect the finish.
A couple of people have wrapped there handles, to good effect.

Cool so it's not just me then that's being 'an8l' regards inner door handles. I was thinking of 'Piano Black' or 'Carbon' wrap after I originally posted. Pretty sure that a little bit of prep would allow any decent paint to adhere correctly. I have a friend who is is professional detailer an he wraps allsorts(usually Lambo's/Ferrari's/Porsche blah blah wonder I he would lower himself to Freelander 1 inner door handles??

I've considered black or grey carbon fibre wrap. I'm not sure I could do it myself, without it looking a mess. The centre console silver accents would need similar treatment, or they'll look out of place.
