She is going to be painted with a compressor.
I have a really good boat painter going to spray her with "Awlgrip" boat paint, but I have a car body man doing the body work.
The color is called "Cream", looks like a very light sand color. The Green was nice but way too hot.
They should be priming today.
They water sanded her yesterday.

Question.

When I start putting things back on. I have heard lots about copper grease to help with corrosion.
Will silicone work as well?
Dont think I have ever seen copper grease here, but then again I have never looked..............

negative maverick.

Silicone will dry hard and go ****ty. im not sure how long it will stay on for either Copper grease might get a little 'crust' on top after a few years but it will stay on forever and stop the corrosion. especially as you is nearer the sea than most. :)
