paint / fix front grill / light surrounds

I have original 1996 grille and surround s that look a bit, tired as they say of houses... plus one if the spars on grill is broken. anybody glued / fixed and painted or if not any recommendations on getting replacements that do not look like a cracker toy like some I see?

A few searches bring up heritage, etc, but not the works V8 style grill, anybody know what style that is?

my present thoughts in cheapskate mode was epoxy break and plastidip parts, or are their heat / other issues I have overlooked?

A new grill is about £3.50 and not worth salvaging. The new grill will paint nicely with plastic primer etc.
