hello all , is there by any chance a lpg wizard that can help , my recently aquired p38a 4.6 hse is fitted with an lpg conversion its a single point system ( i know multi point is maybe a better option on this model ) it was converted in april 02 by rpi engineering and is a omvl system with a wheel well mounted tank, i have had a look around it and besides all the usual solenoids and other gubbins it also has a 3rd 02 sensor , but what bothers me is a multi plug under the bonnet in the lpg loom ( the other end is a smaller multi plug near the throttle housing these are not connected to anything .
unlike my lse it has a 2 position switch on the dash and will happily start and run on either petrol or lpg .
my mpg figure is around 10/11 there abouts on lpg , but the performance is a bit woolley although there is no missfireing it just seems a bit lathargic and overall underpowered its a little better on petrol but its still not what i would expect from a 4.6 donkey if anyone has this system on their rangerover or any guru`s out there can give me a couple of pointers i would be very gratefull thanks in advance.
