Ok so been chasing a vibration down for a while now and I know there are loads of posts on this but no one ever gets back about it blar blar blar....

So Ive checked engine mounts and replaced gear box mounts the vibration starts when the cars warm and on tick over... Ok but if i put a trolly jack under the engine and lift it slightly and the vibe went what am i missing here is it actually a mount that's gone?

Hiya Happy New Year. This is quite loud now and it does it when im slowing down too... If i push on the toque convertor it goes away as well... Any further thoughts?

Ill look into that but if i hold the exhaust while its running to stop it moving it still makes the noise :(
Well, there has to be some metal to metal contact somewhere that is relieved by you pushing on the transfer box. Holding the exhaust may not provide the movement necessary to clear the problem.

Hiya Mutz! Not a bad idea but there doesn't seem to be any movement at all of the exhaust. And I can't see it catching on anything :(

I have a rattle/ vibration on mine couldn't figure it out, turns out it was the centre pipe exhaust bar that attaches to the rubber exhaust mount, at idle was vibrating just enough to tap the chassis and annoy the crap out of me

Ok so was laid under the truck for a good hour today and checked all exhaust mounts they all seem fine. Would it be worth replacing the gear box mounts again? The rubber seems very hard.

Can't you get it running and be underneath of it and use touch and the screwdriver in the ear to try and find the noise? That's how I determine wheel bearing or any whine noise I get on mine or at work.
