P38 Tailgate

Just been to the body shop with the RR and they say that the lower tailgate is not really repairable as the aluminium has split on the fold. New from Land Rover the gate is about £270 but the ones on ebay seem to have similar problems.

Anybody know of a good source?

I have one, its not new and its not split, but before i go in to detail what Landy have you got and where are you? im near Heathrow

It's a 1996 P38 4.0 but I'm quite a way up north!
