P38 RF Receiver Wanted

Does anyone have one of these going spare.

Please see my P38 Key Fob not Working thread.

I am a bit reluctant to spend £120 on a new one, especially if it's not the receiver which is has gone faulty. (Tight Aberdonian you see)

hi friend, I have just upgraded my RF receiver to the new style one, becos the old style kept reading signals from houses/cars down my road, and hence waking up the becm when locked/closed up and draining the battery every 2-3 days.

You may not have this problem, so if you want an old style one, Ive got one to go ................ otherwise, if you want a 2000+ receiver, LR is the only place to go .... tried getting one myself, but is a LR only spare part

It's OK, I found the problem!

The microswitch which detects that the key is in the ignition barrel was wonky, inhibiting the remote central locking from working.

Saved me a fortune!
