We recently bought a P38 (we do have a sense of humor! if not good judgement). It only has one key and fob. Twice now, the remote has refused to unlock, (fob batteries are new). I do have a second unit, but the key does not operate the locks and the fob does not talk to the vehicle. Can it be reprogrammed and how and where can I get a key cut?

Hi, thanks for your interest. Its a 4.0 l petrol. 165000 miles, bought last summer, mostly in great order, body mechanics and interior. Every thing works except heated seats and CD player. New Air suspension, sophisticated LPG system, loads of work done by previous owners. Only significant problem is steering wobble at lower speeds on uneven surfaces. It took us 6 months to find this one. We have had 5 classics prior to the P38, but fancied the better comfort and lower noise levels.

I had lpg on my 4.0 but could not get it set up properly no matter now much i tried. Sold it as an on going project.
