P38 Heater Control Panel Faults

Hi there - new to all this. Only had my RR just over a week. 2001 - 4.6 se vogue.

When I bought it, knew there were a couple of faults with the heater control panel. Two things: first the display has some missing 'strips' ie the 2 doesn't display the top part. Secondly, the buttons on the right side of the panel are not lit up at night. The ones on the left side are.

Is it possible to fix this or do I have to replace the whole unit - reckon that would be pretty expensive? Also, if fixable, is it easy to do? Any help much appreciated.
