p38 gearbox.

hi there im new to landyzone so hi evey one.

i have a p38 2.5dt manual and need a gearbox, but cant find one any wear.

so if any one has one or know were i can get one please let me know.

james the gearbox run out off oil so is well and truly f~#ked.

Cos there's several million ****wits freaks and weirdos on the net. not to mention conmen and commercial software that trawls the net looking foe mobile no's to add to a database which is then sold to cold calling companies.

at the worst i can convert other r380 to p38 with your gearbox top ,reconditioners will want surcharge as well for oiless box,have you tried breakeryard.com/findapart etc i use similar as get better price and covers entire country

try a1 landrover spares at Bury they a have some in stock i know a place that does recons as well

It might help if you state your location, I know a breakers that probably will have one near, Brentwood Essex, but its no good if your in Scotland.

Will try and find out the breakers details but I'm on holiday at the moment.

james you might be the man for man shortly as my p38 has weak baulk rings,so maybe worth overhauling the box,only thing is i cannot remove gearbox as it is bloody heavy,pm me more details please phone number and the like, i am in oxfordshire,and have access to a friendly garage who may remove box for me.
what is the price for doing these rough estimate?
