Have nearly got all the car's faults sorted out now, at last! Seemed like a never ending trail. Was just wondering how easy it was to fit a new clutch kit to a 1995 dse. What has to be taken off to do so? Have heard somewhere that the transfer box has to come off?? Has anybody done one that can tell me how to do it. Any help is greatly Appreciated.

Best thing is to download RAVE for the detail of how to do it. Since I assume, like the auto, the transfer box is bolted to the gearbox, for sure it will have to come off, either in one piece with the box or seperately.

Gear box and transfer box taken out as one lump. If you are doing this on your back taking the transfer box off will make the box lighter. But it's still a bloody ball ache of a job if you don't have a couple of proper jacks. Not the toy ones from Halfrauds.

when seperating the engine from the gearbox you must leave the bell housing onthe engine and remove it after the gearbox is removed as the realease bearing is fixed to the pressure plate and the clutch fork wraps into the bearing and pulls it instead of push it like most do
