p38 dse Auto gearbox possible fault

Please can anyone help??
i am having a problem with my p38 which is when engine/box are warm i can put it into reverse and it selects the gear but wont rev at all and some times stalls. it also is very slow in drive sometimes when pulling away.
If i put it in neutral and very slightly raise the revs and drop it into reverse it will work ok. It only does this when warm and is fine when cold. i have changed oil in box but no differance at all.
Also since this problem has started it is winding over alot when engine is started wen warm.
could all this be connected?
i have trawled through this forum and can not find anyone with same fault can anyone help

hello mate i have the same prob when hot in rever and no revs but ok when cold. but have asked be4 and no reply oil and filter changed just carry on with it just liv wiv it . bernie sorry cant help.

Did you get to the bottom of this issue? i also have the same problems, I'm thinking it's an issue with the auto box ECU or Transfer box ECU. I've just changed the transfer box ECU due to the hi-low motor (New motor as well). Only had the P38 for 3 months, and it seams to be off the road more than on the road.

Thats cos it's designed as an "Off road" vehicle:behindsofa:

Lol. Just wish it would work off road as well. This problem is getting to me now, so might go to phase 2. ( how easy is it to ignite diesel?)
