P38 compresser

Hello there has anyone changed their standard p38 air compresser to a different make and type.eg from audi/ford/or anything else..
just out of intrest..thanks

I did. I wired a Airbagit DC5000 4,77cfm 1/2 HP compressor.

2min30sec to fill the air tank instead of 9 for the OEM. More infos here: http://www.djdlabs.com/DC5000.htm
