I would say anythin is possible.
Whether you can get it to look right is somethin else. the 38 is a bit wider.

THe wheelbase on a P38 is 110" and on the Classic 100".................

dont be a scruff and dig deep and just buy a p38!

We were just discussing if it's technically possible assuming one had a good Classic chassis and a good P38 bodyshell available. In practice, I suppose, it would be more feasible to go get a separate P38.
But we never seem to take the easiest way out!
