My p38 just failed it’s mot on the engine management light being lit up. I’ve tried to take it a couple of places to get the codes read but have had no joy. Does anyone have testbook or a good scanner near Huddersfield. Any other ideas to resolve this?
 
I seam to remember that there are apps and bluetooth stuff that will look at the engine only (Torque app i think) others know more.
 
Or "certain" landrover or "not particularly that model here sir/madam" landrover or even "Im not so sure we do that model, let me call the manager. Sorry he's not picking up right now but I'll leave a message and he'll get back to you asap" Fu king landrover:rolleyes:
 
Check the diagnostic fuse, and the connector for corrosion. In the short term by a Bluetooth OBD dongle, and read it on your phone !!

I saw a vid on the dacia duster 4x4 pitted against a ff disco 5 or 7 or something and the duster matched it in 90% if the course. To be sure it wasn't that difficult and as if landrover are going to let someone put a disco 5 or 7 or whatever it is on the grass... :rolleyes:
