P-Gasket - where did I go wrong?

Evening,

I replaced the p-gasket on my 300tdi Defender a year or so ago (following a nicely written guide on here!), I replaced the water pump and a few other bits at the same time. Noticed today that there's a bit of a coolant trickle down to the block (see photo), which I assume is coming from the p-gasket. I gave the surfaces a good clean before replacing with a new metal gasket and torqued everything as per the manual.

Is there anything obvious I might have done badly (or not done) that would lead to it leaking after a year?

Thanks in advance

Sure it is not coming from water pump? I know you said you replaced it, but a trickle from the front area signals a leaking pump sometimes. Try to find exact area of leak.
