Hi i am having problems starting the diesel engine when it is warm, first thing in the morning it starts first time, but if i stop for a few minutes like pooping into a shop when i return, the engine will not start on the first crank no matter how long it turns but when i stop for a fer seconds and re crank the engine it always starts, so now when it is warm i crank it for about three seconds wait three seconds and it will start every time, if i leave the engine after a run for about 30 minutes it will start first time as well .
some one told me that his friend had the same problem as his p38 diesel and he filled a fuse or resistor himself to the fuel pump, i may be barking up the wrong tree but does anybody know what this is all about

High, plenty of threads on here for this type of problem. Search on Hot starting problems.
There is a fix, by putting a timed relay and resitor into the temp sensor line to the ecu. If you search for the threads I have been on you will soon find it.

Cheers

Dave
