Hi

I recently purchased my first range rover. It's superb, but recently the pads have worn out. It's got an overfinch uprated braking system on it, and they have quoted a new set of pads at £280 delivered!!!

The standard ones are £25.00 from halfords lol. Is there an alternative or do they have to be overfinch?

Any help would be financially appreciated, seems very expensive for pads?

EBC is an aftermarket manufacturer of performance brake parts.

green stuff is one of the types of material description - i think you might need green stuff 6000.

here is a link, although you might need to call them.

Now it appears that one of the brake pads wore down so much it had come out of the caliper???

I have leaked brake fluid everywhere. Have parked up outside and not driving until sorted.

Got a quote from brake superstore for complete new calipers, pads and disk either side for £290 all in. Only £10 more than the pads from overfinch. Any ideas on sellingother overfinch caliper, is it worth anything?

thanks in advance

sean

calipers and disks i binned them in the end, let face it can you see a Porsche
