Off playing at Buildwas 4x4 in iron bridge and we were having a great day... Until 2 landys taken out in under 5 mins in similar places.
First was a defender 90, pretty extreme axel twister up a steep climb, he bent a steering arm. Winched out and used the winch to straighten the bar to get him home.
Then I did my read drivers side shock in my disco on a similar but not as extreme section of the same hill. Gutted that the day was over that soon, but glad I was able to drive home after taking the shock off.
Standards shock put back on temporarily today.
Will be taking the pro comp +2 shock back to MM in the morning as the lift was only purchased about 8 months ago. Fingers crossed they will replace it.
Snapped it off on the bottom pin
Have since found out that a friend has had 2 pro comp shocks do the same.
Is this a common problem with pro comp? Or any other manufacturer?
All in all still a great day and glad I didn't break anything expensive and was able to drive home.
