Hi, I could do with some help having just bought a new radiator and re-charged the Air Con which was enough! I now seem to have an oil leak from the front of the car it seems to be worse under pressure or after a long run it's hard to identify where it is coming from exactly but it seems to be worse just behind the Radiator. I recently had to replace a turbo intercooler hose pipe and clips and when the accelerator is quickly released when whilst running the engine fault symbol comes up on the dash for a second and then vanishes!.
I also recently pulled out a long thin metal strip/clip from around this area on the car the other day!, i'm not sure if this was off the car or if it got picked up from the road (unlikely i know).

I would really appreciate any help or guidance

Thanks
Paul:confused:

The banding looks like pallet banding, could have come from anywhere, loads of it used where you have duct laying or road works. Might be coincidental but there is a chance it might have nicked an oil cooler or oil pipe. It will leak more when hot than cold as the viscosity gets lower as it gets hotter.
I suggest you steam wash area to try and find where the leak is comming from. Start with where you pulled the banding from.
