I have a 2016 Defender short wheel base and it seems to be using a lot of oil. It had a full oil change In December as part of the service. I think it takes about 6 litres and then at the start of June the oil light came on and I ended up putting 4 litres in to get the level mid way on the dip stick. In that time period I did approximately 5,000 miles. No off roading. Generally a 45 minute 75mph commute on the motorway both ways 3 days a week plus a bit of tootling around. Its done approx 60,000 miles in total. No signs of oil leaks on the drive or smoke coming out of exhaust. Is this level of oil consumption normal.

4 litres in 5000 miles would be classed as unacceptable on any vehicle I should think.
It must be going somewhere, if it's not leaking out then it's burning it.
Someone with a Puma will be along shortly I should think.
