temp gauge going up, not much but enough to get me worried, does anyone remember my nightmare with the engine rebuilders! they had it for 10 months, and i drove it for the first four looking at temp gauge more than the road!
any way temp going up, looked under bonnet and it was the electric fan i installed last year not working, i have adjustable temp switch in top hose and turning that made relay click ok, thought fan knackered (£240 not a year old) got home, switching off engine at lights etc, and the relay is knackered, it has a contact come adrift inside, the terminals are like new but where a spade connector is soldered to the body it has failed ,phew!!!!
new relay today and all will be well.

lovely jubblee, all sorted, 2 mins and £5.16
i like these sort of repairs...........
but not the problems they can bring.....
