Hi there all,

Bit new to all of this but I think I should try! In the last week so I have found out that the fuel pump on my Freelander needed changing. I managed to get a new one and change it myself! I was quite impressed by this. Now however on acceleration she smokes a little from the exhaust and I can feel the drag. Can anyone give me a clue what might possibly be going on. I think it might be turbo but like I say I am no mechanic. Enthusiastic enough!
Cheers for having a read any input is greatly appreciated! 😃

Hi guys,
Thanks for that! No I didn't change filter, if it's fairly simple to do then I might give it a go, will have a look as I know where that is! As for the turbo pipes.....? Please could you give me an idea what and where to look? Sorry bit thick/new to more than the basics.
Thanks again Kate

Turbo pipes run from turbo to Intercooler then Intercooler to inlet ( plenum ) on freelander you'll see 2 of them at the front of engine, oil on the outside of these will indicate a boost leak, have seen a few split
