Driving home from work today, daydreaming about how well my RR has been going lately i was awoken by a steady beeping noise. I looked down at the dash and there was a message on the readout "EAS fault" " Max speed 55 KMH" The rest of my ride home was a bit bumpier than normal, but when i got home the ride height looked about normal. Several times over the last few weeks the RR has sometimes not pumped up straight away, and would only reach its proper height whilst driving. Other times, it pumnps up straight away.

I don,t expect anybody to diagnose it over the net, but I don't know where to start, so if anybody has any advice, it would be welcome.

Get yourself a copy of the EAS Unlock software. It's free to download and use. Here's the link to the page, just scroll down a bit till you see "Download EASunlock Software Suite"http://www.roverreset.com/media/rangerover_easunlock_suite_win32_10-20-08.zip

EAS Unlock Suite

Don't worry too much about the cables for connecting to your RR, that site also shows you how to go about making one yourself (Cable Page).

With that you should be able to find out what the problem is and correct it. Hope it helps.

Cheers guys,

I am trying to source an overhaul kit for the air compressor as a matter of course, meanwhile i have ordered an msv 2 extreme from bbs so i can sort it out myself. A bit of overkill i know, but there are a few other niggly little problems that i want to investigate also and there is no way i will take to the land robber dealers.

Hows the fishing in portugal
