Was at our official dealer today, asking if they could help me with my prob on the cooling system of my D II.

They won`t find the time this week but that didn`t bother me to much.

I`m just a bit confused to hear from their chef mechanik for LR that.:

Discovery 2 has a Tdi 4 cylinder engine!

This is a bad engine and the TD5 is much better, stronger and more reliable.

There don`t have knowledge about bad HG`s and cracked heads on the TD5

:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

how come all the guys in all the english, german and austrian boards talk that sh*t about troubles with this wonderful engine?

I nearly scared me to death because I thought that my car is broken but:

they never had any probs or break downs with TD5 equiped LRs.

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

But the cracy thing is that I know 2 Defender drivers who bought their cars on that garage and had broken engines not long after.

This funny man told me that there is a Tdi installed in my engine bay and mentioned that i`m wrong when i said that there are 5 pipes leaving the block and heading tothe turbo.

Funny Story but it took some time to lough.

so long.

And if you have a prob near Innsbruck better blow your car up, i think that may cause less damage then to enter that
