Just a clean thread as I'm getting my disco to be used as it should 50/50. So I have recovery eyes on the Abar no idea if the are any good but I will find out one day. Have some new shackles and strop coming. what about decent rear recovery and other items I may need?

If its the recovery points from a standard a bar they snap easy. Did both of mine in one go.

Avoid using your tow bar!

If your crossmember is rusted or corroded or basically not new then with the forces involved on a straight pull you could bend it!

get 2 jate rings and use the holes in the chassis behind the legs. get a bridle and use that to pull. much better practice.
