Hi Guys,

New problem this moring flat battery, have not used the car for two days... Have done some searching and have things to go home and check. But it seems that there is the potential for error messages etc that will need clearing whenthe batery goes flat. Therefore I thought if this was useful

ELM 327 USB 1.4a OBD2 Code Car Diagnostic Interface 1.4 on eBay (end time 07-Oct-10 10:35:43 BST)

might get it just in case, but would it work on my 95 manual DT.

Other suggestions welcome.

The simple answer is NO it won't.

Thanks, well that has saved me £18 but is there any thing a driveway bodger can afford/use?

Cheers

I don't think you need anything. A flat battery won't generate any error messages.

It might screw up your memory settings on your seats and the windows may need resetting, but that should be it.

Thanks mattstevenson2005, I will save my pennies and perhaps put it on my xmas list. Too much just to shell out but will see how often it is needed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
