noobie question

I went through my local map yeasterday and found loads of restricted access lanes and know that I have to investigate access rights, however I also found quite a long BOAT, can this just be driven or do I need to check access for this also?

boat means byway open to all traffic so yes in theory but check with the ROW officer instead of getting ya car crushed

In our are a lot of restricted access lanes marked on my maps (2006 and 2008) have been upgraded to Byways, but that won't filter through to maps unless you buy the latest 2009 versions .. so it's worth checking all of them.
