Greetings
I have recently purchased a Discovery 300 TDI Automatic 1997 'R' 63,000 miles. It runs fantastically, however, I have noticed that when the engine is first started there is a sound like a loose fanbelt. I am told that it is not the fan belt as this is self adjusting, but is "the pulley's" and is quite common. The noise goes fairly quickly, when the engine is warmed up.
Apparantly, Landrover did a modification on later models to stop this. Does anyone have or is aware of this problem and is familiar with the modification.
Kind regards and thanks
