Hi I am having a problem with my Freelander 2 2.2. Basically it will start up but there is no response from the throttle pedal and the battery light stays on. First i thought it was the alternator so changed it and checked the blue wire which was ok.but it hasn't fixed it i have done a code read and there are no codes logged.Any help greatly appreciated as its doing my head in many thanks Phil

What year is it, does it have stop start functionality?
Have you used a LR specific full systems code reader? Sometimes genetic OBD2 readers don't show all the codes, and won't show any from other modules in the vehicle, even if they are giving the issue.

Hi its a 2007 and doesn't have stop start i have an autel scan tool that is quite comprehensive and reads all control units.

And there's no codes in any module? That's almost unheard-of in itself, as the FL2 is a code logging monster.

Does live data show an input from the accelerator?
Do you get a voltage increase at the battery when running, to check the alternator.
Is the battery in peak condition, apparently needed for the fl2 or random issues happen.
