No throttle response

Hi guys I have a question for you all.
Engine managment light came on and had no throttle, after getting recovered throttle suddenly returned.
Upon starting again later, again eml and no throttle, turned off and after a few mins tried again and all fine. Help much needed please, thanks guys

What engine? I'm guessing Td4.

If so, it could be the throttle pot or its wiring.

1. Find the wiring connected to the throttle module where the pedal pivots. Check for broken connections or corrosion.

2. If no problem there, get someone with a code reader to check codes, or...

3. Buy a new throttle module and fit.

It could be a number of things. However, more information on what engine and year is needed.
