Hi, (again).

On my P38 I've got no temp display on my heating console, it all appears to work fine but no display of selected temperature. Any thoughts?

hmmm, does it look anything like this...

or is there just no display at all?? If its like what you see above or theres just nothing being shown at all then you will new a new HeVAC panel @ around £175ish. Basically the connections to the screen start giving out and failing causing either fragmented display or none at all.

There is in fact no display at all, it never even showed signs of fragmentation on the display. I put a box under the passengers seat and left it there overnight. The next day when I'd removed the box I noticed the display was dead. Any connection there (no pun intended)?

hmmm, maybe I should of made myself a bit clearer when I replied. I guess I should of really asked whether the original poster had any lighting behind the display at all?? I guess he would of said if he had no lighting behind the display though.

As for the temp fix which you posted Dopey, it didnt work for me at all. I tried countless times to try and get it to work when I had my dodgy HeVAC panel but it just wouldnt work in the end. So whether or not that info really works I do not know, it certainly didnt for me.

wills i thought it was a bit iffy when i read it, and to me it seemed like a lucky one off fix, but you have to try
