no reverse help

hi all i have a 07 freelander 2 2.2 diesel auto...ihave a TF-81SC gearbox but i have foud out all these are the same TF-80SC (AWF21, AF40-6, AM6, AW6A-EL) and (AF21) ?? my question is i have no reverse gear any ideas what it could be i brought ir like this
any help would be appreciated ive been looking for days but dont seem to be getting anywhare.

We do not have many active FL2 owners on this forum as yet, mainly because they are the newer vehicles and largely not in the ownership of enthusiasts and DIY mechanics.
