No oil light

Evening. Did a long overdue oil and filter change today.
Ashamed to say I e owned my 300tdi a year and this is the first time. But in some comfort I only did 600 miles this year.

Anyway I’m pretty sure the oil light was working before.

but now I have no light. Not even with ignition just on but not started.

swapped bulb the same.

so is it possible changing the oil could make the pressure switch faulty?

Is the wire connected to the sensor? Did you knock it off during the filter change?

Not sure. Where is the sensor.

If it is not connected , then look for a loose hanging wire with a spade connector on the end.
