Well you dont need to worry because Land rover have lost the MOD contract to Mercedes, who are going to provide something like the Germans have. The wolfs dont have the load capacity etc that is now needed with the new radio systems i.e. Bowman. Because it is such a heavy system the MOD is having to buy trailers for most vehicles because there is simply not enough room internally or externally and the axles cant carry the weight. With Land rover loosing such an important contract, what with spares and specialist repairs. It could very well mean they close the whole 90/ 110/ wolf etc models down as there simply is not longer a mass market for the out dated model. [email protected]
) the British always go for a home-grown product if at all possible. So dropping an icon like Land Rover in favour of a Merc (G Wagen?) is really something
