Anyone else feel the same way as me?

My hippo has just been in to have a coolant pipe replaced and the aux belt replaced (135k miles and never been done so thought it was about time), and i have just had a good look around him, rear window (fixed one on drivers side) has a chip in it (only small but i notice these things) and 2 of the screws holding the bumper in on the drivers side are missing! Arrgghhh - phone call to them tomorrow!

Why is it that no-one looks after anything as well as i do or am i just expecting too much ? from a garage!

resolution - do more work myself!

sons d3 went to have a key reprogrammed, they did an update on the steering, and left a loose screw in the plastic around the column, every time he changed direction the screw rolled to one side or t' other, it drove him mad.

Elvis is right...my brand new Suzuki sports bike went in for its 600 mile service, and came back with a 3 inch x 1 inch scuff in the lower fairing. To make matters worse, they had tried to 'touch up' the repair. ****wits.

Mates TVR went in for a service & new brake pads. and they managed to add 400 miles to the speedo?? turns out the Manager had "borrowed" it for the weekend. "to bed the brakes in properly" Now that's what you call commitment to ya customers ;)

I seriously doubt this has anything to do with the work you have had done!
I work in the motor trade and have lost count of the times that people only look round their car after is has left the garage and not before and blame the garage for every mark in the cars entire life or when the radio stops working three months later it's the garages fault as they were the last people to work on the car!

You'll know what I mean about most garages hiring brain dead sacks of **** as mechanics then?? Who think they have the god given right to **** ya motors up and charge you for the privilege. :p

I did 3 years of modern tap dancing before realising I was better at taking bollocks.
Really just wanted to vent some anger, you can't knock me for that.
nuff said.
You put it into the garage to get some pipes changed because you thought it was about time for it.ok.
Did thet remove the 2 scews? and why?

MMMM also met brain dead sacks of ****s of customers who you actually try to help out then they talk to their mate who "knows a lot about cars 'cause he once changed the oil on his 1984 Mini" or read some utter bull**** on the internet!
Believe it or not but some of us sacks of **** are genuine but some people are just so far up their own arse that they can't see daylight!;)

I worked for 5 years in the motor trade hence I know how and why to look round a car! Just annoyed at the relaxed attitude they take.
