I have a P38 range rover and was recently towing a trailer when it overheated. I was told it was the head gasket but disagreed and ran it without a trailer and it ran OK. Does anyone know if the two front fans only run the air conditioning or are they auxillary fans for when the engine gets too warm. If they are just for the air con what could be causing the engine to overheat when under strain and if not just for air con does anyone know where they are fed from so i can replace the switch or override the electrical feed.
