Hello to one and all,

Just relocated to South Cambs from Tampa. Drove a Series II Disco in the US (and still felt small) and during an unsceduled crash test with an 18 wheel truck and a concrete barrier managed to prove that the Disco is one tough piece of work. Loved the car so bought my brother's Series I Disco on my return to the UK, see the Disco thread to see why hind sight is 20:20...

Retruning limey. That said 2.5 years away I felt like an American the first time I filled up! Thank godness for credit cards! Oh the days of $3 a gallon petrol.
