I've fancied a weekend camper for years. Not a home from home but a simple mobile brew space and bed.
Found a few snaps ont t interweb so plans are afoot.

I need one of these for the back of mi truck.

So are you going to make one? I think there's something very cute about those rounded vintage caravans.

VERY nice. I own the early 60s equivalent of that - more of a box on wheels but minimaliist and very functional. I bought it as a complete wreck and rebuilt the structure and all of the internal furnishings - a very satisfying project.

http://www.richer-engineering.com/Overlander/index.php is the page I put together on the rebuild.

I do love the leaded windows in that!

If you keep the weight reasonable a series truck will tow it all day every day - I have done more than a few thousands of miles with my trailer on the back of my 109 at reasonable motorway speeds (55-60) with no problems.

If you want to talk about construction or refurbishment ping me.

Its a new build.

Being a failed wood butcher the axing together will be easy enough. The bloke who made this one offers them for sale but you lot are too poor to even look at the website.
If you doubt my skills have a look at my boxes on flyworkshop.co.uk

The origional has an ash chassis but I will go for mecul and ply.
